Linda Lane Thornton

I am continuing to share my quilting interests with local ladies in the island of Terceira, my latest event being a Christmas wallhanging in Japanese Folded Patchwork - great fun!

On a personal level I am continuing with my journal quilts, though not as prolifically as when we were full-time yachties - things like housework and gardening get in the way. However, I've started making larger items, like bed-runners, place mats and antimacassars (if anyone can remember what they are). I am also continuing to learn Portuguese - essential as we have made our home here in the islands.

A move is in the offing as I have finally succumbed to Andy's wish to move to the adjacent island of Sao Jorge, so I am sorting stuff out - again - and will continue to declutter both my land- and sea-based homes.
