Introduction to Free Motion Quilting Workshop with Sarah Humphreys

Would you like to have a go at free motion quilting but don’t know where to start?

Are you nervous or afraid and never plucked up the courage to have a go? Did you give it a go once but never really got on well?

Then this is a workshop designed for you.

You will learn how to set up your machine and get started with free motion quilting. You will be guided through creative quilting exercises to increase your skills and confidence. Advice will be given on selecting threads for free motion quilting and there will be a range of different threads available for you to experiment with. A variety of samples will be on show to inspire you further.

£40 to members and £50 to non-members

To book your place:

  • Email Sarah Adcock leics@quiltersguild.org.uk to establish if there are spaces available on the workshop.

  • Then Sarah will advise you if there is space

  • Email Sarah to state how you will pay – BACS or cheque AND

    include your QG membership number

  • A place will be reserved when Sarah has verified receipt of payment, you will be sent the requirements list for your workshop if appropriate.
